Appliances from Redruth, Falmouth and Camborne were mobilised to this incident. On arrival there was found to be a fire in a derelict building of approximately 50 x 11 metres, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hosereels and a jet at the incident to extinguish the fire, the Positive Pressure Fan was also used to ventilate the property. Arson is suspected, the police and the Arson Task Force are now dealing. Please contact Devon & Cornwall Police for further information.
