One appliance from Truro and the rescue tender from Camborne were mobilised on receipt of this call. On arrival it was found that the incident involved a heavy goods vehicle and a car, with one person trapped in the car. Crews used crash rescue equipment to release the casualty, who was then taken into the care of waiting ambulance personnel.
