On arrival at this incident the crew initially requested a further appliance as there was found to be a fire in an extractor fan, the fire was then found to involve the frying range and two further appliances were requested. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hosereels and a jet at the incident to extinguish the fire. The positive pressure fan was used to ventilate the property. An ambulance was required for a person suffering the effects of smoke inhilation. Crews attended from Redruth, Camborne, Newquay, Truro and Falmouth. The last appliance returned at approximately 1400 hours. A Fire Investigation Team carried out a check of the premises.
