at 2329 on Saturday night we were called to an address in West Street Polruan, a smoke alarm had been sounding and a neighbour reported it, on arrival the premises were found to be smoke logged also the flat above had to be evacuated because of smoke, the occupants 2 adults and a child plus their dog were fortunately able to be put up overnight by friends. Appliances from Polruan,Lostwithiel and Looe attended. A jet from a hydrant , breathing apparatus and cutting away were used also a thermal imaging camera.
