Firefighters from Saltash attended a call to a fire at Grassmere Way this evening. On arrival the crew found the property to be heavily smoke logged and entered using two breathing apparatus and a hose reel. A burnt pan was found on the cooker hob and the Firefighters used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke from the property.
The occupier of the property was given oxygen at the scene by Firefighters whilst waiting for the arrival of The Ambulance Service.
