On receipt of this call stating that fire alarms were sounding and the property had smoke within, both appliances from Penzance and an appliance from Hayle and an officer were mobilised, on arrival the crews found that a fire involving the cooker was fortunately out, crews proceeded to ventilate the premises using the positive pressure fan, an ambulance was requested to treat three casualties for the effects of smoke inhalation.
