Cornwall Fire and Rescue service received a call from a member of the public reporting a vehicle fire at Tolgus Vean, Redruth. One pump from Tolvaddon Community Fire Station was immediately mobilised by Critical Control.
On arrival the officer in charge confirmed one vehicle well alight. Crews extinguished the fire using two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets.
The incident was confirmed as accidental, confined and left safe and in the hands of the owner.
