Crews from Truro and Perranporth attended this incident. On arrival crews found that a two storey detached building had been hit by lightning and there was a fire in the roof, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hosereels at the incident, crews also used a covering jet and ladders at the scene. An ambulance was requested and a casualty was treated at the scene. Crews remained for a time assisting with salvage operations at the scene.
