Crews from Perranporth also the rescue tender from Camborne were mobilised on receipt of this call. On arrival the crew found a person trapped underneath a car, the crews used crash rescue equipment to release the casualty, who was then taken into the care of waiting ambulance personnel. The Brigade were later made aware that unfortunately the casualty had passed away.
