Fire Involving Rubbish, Pallets and Tyres

Adjacent to A30, Kehelland, near Camborne at 11/07/2005 21:15


2 appliances from Camborne, one appliance from St Ives and the water carriers from Penzance and Newquay attended. The fire involved a large quantity of rubbish, pallets and tyres. The crews used 4 jets to bring the fire under control by 2345hrs. Crews remained on scene damping down, for a time.

The fire was accidentally started when a bonfire got out of control.
