Appliances from Truro and Newquay attended a call to a hedge fire that had spread to garages at 11:05 today. On arrival the first appliance confirmed the fire had spread to three separate garages, some containing gas cylinders.
Firefighters using breathing apparatus and hose reels entered the building to safely remove the gas cylinders and an amount of petrol whilst extinguishing the fire.
The cause is believed to be accidental.
