Two appliances and an officer attended a call to a kitchen fire at midnight tonight. On arrival the first appliance confirmed there was a fire in a ground floor kitchen. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to enter and extinguish the flames. A positive pressure ventilation fan was used to clear smoke from the property.
