Straw and Stubble On Fire

Two fire appliances from Newquay Fire Station and one from Truro Fire Station attended this incident.
The fire involved a large area of stubble measuring approximately 100m by 100m and straw bales. The crew used four hosereels and beaters to stop it spreading to other fields. At 1915hrs the fire was extinguished and the cause was accidental.
