One crew from St. Dennis and the rescue tender from Bodmin were mobilised to this incident. On arrival it was confirmed by Devon & Cornwall Police that the incident unfortunately had a person deceased at the scene, crews could not assist at the time, but returned later and removed the body using crash rescue equipment. The A30 was closed for a considerable amount of time while the Police continued their investigations. Any further information may be obtained from Devon & Cornwall Police.
