Car and Double Garage Badly Damaged By Fire.

Two crews from Truro and one from Falmouth attended a fire at Halvarras Road, Playing Place, Truro at 0200 hours on Monday. A car inside a double garage was almost completely destroyed by fire and the 6 x 8 meter garage was severely damaged. Crews used 2 main jets and wore breathing apparatus to fight the fire which spread to surrounding fences and threatened nearby properties. The fire was brought under control by 0240.
