One appliance from Camborne attended following a report that smoke was blowing across the A30 trunk road. The crew found that a rubbish fire had spread to gorse. The crew used one hosereel to extinguish the fire. Arson is suspected and the culprit had put innocent peoples lives at risk because smoke from the fire was obscuring the vision of drivers along the dual carriageway.
