Child Rescued From Sand
Beachside Holiday Park Phillack Hayle at 14/08/2005 16:33
At 1633 we were asked by the Coastguard for assistance to release a 3 year old girl who had become buried in sand at Beachside Holiday Park in Phillack.
Appliances from Camborne and Falmouth carrying specialist equipment were mobilised. the child was extracted from the sand by brigade personnel using shovels and conveyed to hospital by air ambulance.
