Two appliances from Penzance Fire Station, one from St Ives Fire Station and one from Hayle Fire Station attended this incident. The fire involved a 10m garden fence that was well alight and spread to an oil tank in the rear garden. The crews used four breathing apparatus, one hosereel and one main jet to extinguish the fire. An inspection of the property inside and outside was carried out for safety purposes. The cause of the fire was an unattended BBQ.
