Appliances from Wadebridge, Padstow and Bodmin were alerted to a fire in a barn containing farm machinery at 06:40 today. On arrival, the Firefighters from Padstow and Wadebridge confirmed one tractor was well alight inside a barn and requested an additional appliance due to poor water supplies. The crews used hose reels and foam to extinguish the fire and prevent the spread of fire to the building. A fire investigation was completed at the scene and the cause is believed to be accidental.
