Several calls were received for this incident, with one stating that a person was within the vehicle, both appliances from Bodmin and an Officer were mobilised, on arrival the vehicle was found to be well alight, fortunately no persons were involved, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used high pressure hosereels to extinguish the fire. The cause was arson. Devon & Cornwall Police attended and will be making further enquiries.

Arson does not only threaten lives and damage property it has a detrimental effect on communities and the lives of people within them.
