On receipt of a call stating that a straw chopper was on fire adjacent to a barn, appliances from St. Dennis and Newquay and an Officer were mobilised, on arrival the chopper was well alight, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using a high pressure hosereel jet. The cause was accidental.
