One appliance from Truro attended and the crew quickly extinguished the fire in a paper recycling bank using one hosereel. Arson is suspected, the Police and the Arson Task Force are now dealing.

There is potential for a person to be burnt at incidents such as these, particularly children who may be playing in a public space. All arson fires are treated seriously and if prosecuted, an offender may expect a custodial sentence.
