Critical Control received several emergency calls to a property fire in Lower Treluswell, Penryn.
Two fire appliances from Falmouth Community Fire Station and Fire Officer were mobilised to the incident.
On arrival they found a 2 two storey dwelling to be well alight, where two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the building. The fire was extinguished using a hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera and positive ventilation fan was also used at the incident.
A fire investigation will take place during daylight hours.
