Residential Fire

At 19:07 this evening the Critical Control Centre received an emergency call regarding a residential fire.

Appliances from Truro, Tolvaddon and Perranporth were mobilised to the incident. On arrival crews discovered smoke issuing.

Firefighters discovered the fire on the ground floor of the property and used two Breathing Apparatus and one Safety Jet to extinguish the fire.

Fires happen when you least expect them, often during the night. They also spread very quickly, damaging property, killing and injuring people. A smoke alarm is a warning device that detects smoke at the earliest stages of a fire. When it detects a fire, it will make a piercing noise to alert or wake you.
