Serious Fire In Complex of Buildings

Approximately 30 firefighters from Penzance, St Just, Camborne, St Ives and Falmouth attended a blaze in a complex of buildings. The firefighters were confronted with a severe fire spreading along the first floor of the 2 storey complex. They fought hard to stop the fire spreading any further and as the fire was being brought under control, items were salvaged from the ground floor. The cause of the fire is still being investigated. The last crew left the scene at about 0130hrs on 28 Aug 2005.
