Fire In Flat Roof

One appliance from St Austell Fire Station and one from Lostwithiel Fire Station were mobilised to this incident. On arrival crews found that an external rubbish fire had spread to the flat roof of a domestic property. The property was smoke logged and crew used four breathing apparatus and one hosereel to extinguish the fire. The occupants were out of the property but a dog was rescued by firefighters and is safe and well.
