Two appliances from Tolvaddon and a whole-time Officer were mobilised at 05:43 this morning, to a agricultural building fire.

Firefighters discovered one stable block, approximately four meters by four meters, well alight. Two Breathing Apparatus and two Hose Reel Jets were used to extinguish the fire.

Crews remain on scene damping down and turning over.

Every year we attend numerous fires on farms, where buildings are completely destroyed by fire, often with the loss of large amounts of stock, straw, hay, farm machinery, chemicals and even livestock.
