Appliances from St Austell attended a call to a fire in a property at 22:00. On arrival the crews confirmed that there was a fire in the ground floor living room of a domestic home. Firefighters used four breathing apparatus and two hose reels to enter the property, confirming all persons were accounted for at 22:39.
After the fire was extinguished, Firefighters on scene believed the cause to be arson and a full fire investigation will take place today.
