One appliance from Newquay, the rescue tender from Bodmin and the operational support vehicle from St. Austell were mobilised on receipt of this call from West Country Ambulance. On arrival crews found a four year old child had fallen onto a screw which was attached to the rocks, the screw had pierced her foot, Brigade personnel used cutting equipment to cut the screw, the child was then taken into the care of waiting ambulance personnel.
