At 21:58 Critical Control received a 999 call stating that when the homeowners had returned to their property it was full of smoke. Appliances from Tolvaddon, Truro and a flexi duty office were mobilised. Crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire that was contained to a log basket adjacent to the solid fuel appliance.
