Fire Safety Badge Awarded To Scouts From the South West

Scouts from all over the South West will be meeting at Truro Fire Station on Friday to receive their Fire Safety Badge.
Nearly twenty scouts will be given the chance to have a tour of the fire station by firefighters from Orange Watch, and will also witness the dangers of a chip pan fire.
They will also watch a practical demonstration by Paul Jensen, the Chubb Training Officer.
A formal demonstration of the Fire Safety Badge to the Scouts by Officers from the Fire Brigade and Chubb will take place at 10.45am.
The presentation of the Fire Safety Badge to each Scout will be carried out by representatives from the Fire Brigade and Chubb.
At 11am refreshments will be served to all those involved.
