On receipt of this call appliances from Liskeard and Callington also the water carrier from Liskeard were mobilised. on arrival there was found to be a fire in a detached bungalow measuring five by five metres, with smoke issuing from the kitchen area, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two high pressure hosereel jets to extinguish the fire. Western Power attended to isolate the supply to the premises.
