At 17:29 the Critical Control Centre received a 999 call informing them of a kitchen fire at an address in Bodmin.

Two crews from Bodmin, supported by a wholetime officer, attended. The fire was out on arrival. Crews then ventilated the property.

The Ambulance Service attended to help the occupant who was suffering smoke inhalation.

We have since left the scene. No further updates on the condition of the occupant is available.
