At 02:24 this morning the Critical Control Centre received an emergency call stating that a derelict building was on fire.

One appliance from Perranporth and an appliance from Tolvaddon, were immediately mobilised to the incident.

On arrival, crews discovered one three storey derelict building, approx. 60 metres by 20 metres with a fire located in the ground floor fire escape. Two Breathing Apparatus and one Hose Reel Jet was used to extinguish the fire.
