Kitchen Fire

One appliance from Penzance and one appliance from St Just attended a small fire in the kitchen of a 3 storey house, measuring about 20 metres by 15 metres. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hosereel to extinguish the fire by 0626hrs. Crews were then detained for a time ensuring all was safe.
Kitchen Fire Safety Advice:
The most important point about cooking is to avoid being distracted. Most kitchen fires occur when people leave things unattended.
