Initially both appliances from Truro were mobilised to this incident, on arrival there were found to be five double decker buses well alight, further resources were requested and further appliances from Falmouth and Redruth attended also a breathing apparatus support unit from Falmouth. At one stage a total of eight firefighters were committed at the scene and three jets and hosereels were used to extinguish the fire. A total of eight buses were destroyed in the fire. Arson was suspected. Devon & Cornwall Police were in attendance and the Arson Task Force were informed.
