On the initial call received for this incident crews from St. Dennis were mobilised, on arrival at the incident there was found to be a barn measuring 15 x 8 metres well alight so a further appliance was requested, two main jets and a hosereel were used also firefighters wore breathing apparatus at the incident, the incident carried on throughout the night and is ongoing, the bales are being allowed to burn out under control. Arson was suspected. Devon & Cornwall Police and the Arson Task Force have been informed.
