At 0102 the Critical Control Centre received calls stating that there was a large Gorse fire. Crews from Bodmin have been mobilised to this incident.

Update 0240 further appliances from Lostwithiel, St Dennis, Wadbridge, a specialist vehicle from Launceston and Bodmin along with two Wholetime officers have been requested at this incident. Two large areas of gorse are on fire at this time. Firefighters are using Beaters to extinguish the fire.
Update 0400 Good Progress has been made at this incident Crews remain on scene to monitor for re ignition of gorse.
