Appliances from Polruan, Fowey and Lostwithiel attended a fire in a property at 06:30 this morning. On arrival the crews confirmed that there was a fire on the top floor that was spreading to the room below. Firefighters used four breathing apparatus and two hose reels to tackle the fire, utilising a hydrant for a covering jet. A thermal imaging camera was used in the property to check for hot spots and a fire investigation was carried out. One appliance remains on scene cutting away and making safe before they leave.
