Six firefighters on one appliance from St Austell attended a call to a property where the Carbon monoxide alarm was sounding. On crews arrival the property was checked using a Carbon Monoxide monitor. The detector identified a fault on a gas cooker on the property. The resident was checked as a precaution by Ambulance paramedics and advise was given to the occupant of the property not to use the cooker until the fault had been fixed.
