At 1204hrs a road traffic collision was reported to Critical Control by Ambulance requesting Fire Service attendance.
One appliance from Truro Community Fire Station, the Rescue Tender from Tolvaddon Commnunity Fire Station and a Flexi Duty Officer were immediately mobilised. The incident involved three vehicles with one 84yr old male trapped. The crew used crash rescue equipment to extricate the casualty and handed him over to the care of ambulance personnel. Police were also in attendance.
