At 20,30 the Critical Control Centre received multiple calls to a house on fire on Tintagel Road, Boscastle. Four appliances from Delabole, Wadebridge Bodmin and Bude community Fire Stations were mobilised.
Upon arrival the crews confirmed the building was well alight one person is being treated by ambulance service for smoke inhalation. The fire is being fanned by high winds this has led to a partial roof collapse. Crews are fighting the fire and trying to stop spread to neighbouring properties and extinguish the fire.
Update: 23:05. Two appliances will remain on scene and a fire investigation will take place in daylight hours.
