Bodmin Moor, in the vicinity of Brown Willy and Roughtor at 13/04/2019 22:45

At 2245hrs, the first of many 999 calls were received by Critical Control reporting a large fire on the moor. Fire crews from Bodmin and Launceston were mobilised. The fire was located on Maiden Tor and was burning on two fronts, about one mile in length.

There are no properties in the vicinity of the fire and the fire crews are monitoring its progress.
