A pub was evacuated whilst firefighters from Bodmin Community Fire Station dealt with a difficult chimney fire. The crew used one hosereel, thermal image camera and a triple extension ladder. After some considerable time and a lot of cutting away, it was discovered that the fire had spread to an adjacent blocked off chimney and into a cob wall. The cause of the fire was accidental.
