Fire In the Open

One appliance from Penzance with 6 firefighters attended a fire in the open in Ludgvan.
On arrival the crew discovered an area of gorse on fire with a 100 metre front. The crew requested extra resources to attend this incident. These came from Penzance and St Ives. Two main jets and beaters were used to extinguish the fire.
