After receiving a 999 call at 12:05, the Critical Control Centre mobilised two appliances from Penzance, along with two officers.
Once on scene, crews requested further assistance be sent and a total of four appliances attended from Penzance, St Just and St Ives.
Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used hosereel jets to extinguish the blaze.
Two crews are remaining on scene using thermal imaging cameras to monitor hotspots. An investigation into the cause of the fire will take place shortly.
