At 1532 Critical Control received a 999 call stating that there was a strong smell of smoke from a third floor flat. Two appliances from Penzance & one appliance from St Just along with two flexi duty officers were mobilised. Crews used 2 breathing apparatus and a 135 ladder to confirm a cooker had been left on in the flat. That is all the information we have at this time.
