At 02.54, Critical Control received several calls to reports of a vehicle on fire.

Fire crews from Bodmin Community Fire Station were mobilised to the incident.

On arrival, it was found that one vehicle was well alight. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using two hosereels extinguished the fire, which had spread to another vehicle parked close by.

The fire is believed to be suspected arson and the incident has been left with the police who is liaising with the owners of the vehicles.
