Tumble Dryer Fire

Two appliances from St Ives Community Fire Station and one appliance from Hayle Community Fire Station and a Flexi Duty Officer attended this incident. The tumble dryer was in a single storey laundrette measuring approximately 10m by 3m. The crew used two breathing apparatus, one hosereel and a thermal image camera at this incident and successfully extinguished the fire. A Fire Investigation team will be informed for further investigation tomorrow.
