2 appliances from Wadebridge were mobilised on report of a house fire. The crews found an end-terraced property that was heavily smoke logged. A further appliance was requested, which came from Delabole. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used 2 hosereels to extinguish the fire, which was located on the first floor and spread to a lean-to roof. The fire was brought under control by 1849hrs and crews remained in attendance until 1930hrs cutting away burnt materials from the roof space.
